Unit launched an anti-plastic drive by distributing paper carry bags to the vendors of the Panvel market on 14th August, 2019. The youngsters, committed to spreading the environmental message, organized rally carrying placards. They also urged the public to refrain themselves from the use of plastics in their daily life. As a part of the massive drive launched by the Maharashtra Government to increase the green cover across the State, the N.S.S. volunteers of Pillai College of Arts, Commerce & Science organized a one day tree plantation drive on 2nd August, 2019. 36 students successfully planted 180 saplings at Khuthari village in spite of heavy rains.
