Block and Tackle

To develop the ability to analyze controversies, select and evaluate evidence, construct and refute arguments, ‘Block and Tackle’ Competition was conducted on 4th August, 2015. Block and Tackle is a turncoat debate on a faster track. Whenever the participant hears the instruction “Block” he / she has to go against the motion and as the participant hears “Tackle” he / she has to go back to favour the motion. The speaker can be blocked and tackled any number of times. The students were allowed to pick their topics from the lots and speak on the spot. The competition witnessed students’ participants from all the streams.
