The Department of Bachelor’s of Commerce organised a Social Activity on Organ Donation on Tuesday, 7th August, 2018. This event was conducted in association with the Rotary Club and Rotary Club Midtown. The session was arranged by District Governor, Shailesh Palekar. He addressed the gathering regarding the importance of ‘Organ Donation’ in India and how we are lacking in this aspect as a nation. The session took place in the College Auditorium. Around 240 students and faculty members attended the event.

The highlight of this event was that it created a new record in the Guinness Book of World Records for the highest amount of registrations for organ donation, which turned out to be 21,168.
